Swell November

The girls love snuggling up to my 30 weeks belly. We are all doing well and are just excited and ready to meet this sweet brother boy! Alden is really moving and grooving now. The girls think it's funny when they lay their head on my stomach and he kicks them!

Jane Ellis was able to have a quick lunch with mommy and daddy. She loves her daddy and her mexican food.

Emma and Elsie came to help Shannon watch the girls so Robert could go out of town. The next morning, after I got back from work, I made them all bacon and pink and blue pancakes.

                                                               The girls love their babies.

Jane Ellis turned 3 November 23rd! I truly cannot put into words the amount of joy she's brought to us. She can be so sweet. If she gets a treat and Aubrey isn't there for one, she always asks "where's aubrey?" She's been sleeping in her big girl bed since september and loves it.

half way there!

september 4. 20wks 4 days. Another OB appt... Mr's HR158 158 lbs Sometimes I wish I could just do a homebirth and not get checked so often. But I'm so thankful for the care I'm able to receive. So, far I still feel great, though it's getting hard for me to carry Aubrey. It's just unfathomable to me that this is more than likely my last pregnancy. I can honestly say, I'm going to miss it.

Little update

August 19. Well, we made it to the beach! My mom, my sister Shannon, her kids Emma, Elsie, and William, me and my kids. SO MUCH FUN!!

Sept 16. Jane Ellis loves to talk to Alden and tell him all about her day. She's so ready to meet him.

sept 28. 24wks already!!! This is going by too fast. As I start to really feel him kick and roll, rumble and push, I can't imagine this being the last time I go through all of this. Also, Aubrey started peeing in her potty at just 19 months old =) Is it possible I'll only have one kid in diapers?

Big News!

Big news! We're having baby #3 in January!!!! We were completely surprised, but very excited. Aubrey will be 23 months and Jane Ellis will be three in November, so now too sure how crazy it will be with 3 kids 3 and under, but we'll find out soon! We waited to tell our families after we could get in to see the OB and get an US pic. Robert's parents were pretty surprised. Mine? Not so much lol The girls are excited, though I'm not sure how much Jane Ellis really understands.

Some more July fun, the whole family took a trip to Hot Springs! We also spent a day at the local petting zoo/crocodile farm feeding the goats.

Jane Ellis is 30mo now. And such a big girl.
•She potties all by herself-for the most part.
•She can get dressed and undressed, picking out her own clothes.

•she loves bubble rompers and footy pajamas and anything out if Aubrey's closet
•She likes planes but hates when the crop dusters fly over the house

•she's still quiet and reserved unless she's at home
•sleeps in her crib all night, we're currently looking at a twin bed we'll be transitioning her to soon
•she likes salad, tomatoes, celery, apples with peanut butter and sprinkles, Popsicles, two vitamins, olives and cheese.

•she loves her babies and wants to wear them daily

•she can't get enough of her bubbles, kitty and playing with her cousins
•she still loves caillou, Angelina ballerina, Bernstein bears, and super why but is scared to death of Thomas the train!

•she's finally caught on to her colors and counts correctly about half the time

•her pushing Aubrey has gotten better and they now play in the playroom together at least once a day

•she insists on being worn on my front! I love it though :)

•she adores her cousin William
•and will make me give her all the wild blackberries I pick

•she is still rear-facing in the car and loves her diono RXT car seat

•she hardly naps, but when she does it's for 2.5-3 hrs or longer!
•she loves her daddy

Mother's Day

Savoring these last few minutes of nursies and snuggles before leaving for work. I love Mother's day, not for the gifts or sweet sentiments, but just for the reminder that being a mother is a gift I was given, something that not every woman partakes in, whether by choice or not. We don't make a big deal of it (although i certainly wouldn't mind if they did! lol) I worked last night and tonight, so I pretty much slept all day and we played this afternoon. It may not have been the "ideal" Mother's Day, but one more day with these precious girls is more than some moms get. So for me, today was perfect :)

Oh, Jane Ellie...

So let me set the stage for you. My sister and her girls came and spent the day with us. (which just happened to be the most beautiful day we've had in weeks) Then we we spent the evening at my parent's house eating and letting all the cousins play together (as well as 4 kids age 1-3 years can play together lol) We got back to the house around 915 and I quickly nursed AC and put her to bed. Ahhh, now to get JE to bed. She was snuggled up to Robert watching Duck Dynasty with a little Caillou mixed in. Robert had to run down to the shop, so I put JE in the bed with my nook so she could watch a few stories. About 15 minutes went by and since I never heard anything I assumed she was asleep. Maggie was asleep on the couch, but quickly lifted her head when we heard something in the kitchen. I thought it was just a cat (or mouse). A second later I see a little curly-brown haired 2 yo crawling from the kitchen to underneath the dining room table! Maggie was very unsure of what was going on, she was sitting up on the couch- hair raised with a low growl. "Jane Ellis, what are you doing? (laughing)" she doesn't say anything. She gets right in front of me and I ask her what she has in her mouth. She just smiles, when she opens her hand I can see she had gotten into some candy that was on the tall dresser in our room. When I went back there to see how she had gotten them, I discovered that, although all the lights were off except for the hallway light, she had gotten her stool out of the bathroom, climbed up and took the candy. This is really the first time she's done anything sneaky like this! And I love it!! I love seeing her sweet little personality grow and mature. I can't wait to see what other funny things she does

After cleaning out her closet and drawers, she finds her bathing suit, and pretends she's swimming lol

Easter 2013

Since I'm still working sat/sun nights I had to work Easter night. I decided to go straight to bed so I could get up at 12 and get ready. It has been so rainy that we knew the egg hunt would be inside; that also meant Robert hasn't been working so he was able to watch the girls while I slept. We had our annual Easter at my Pepaw's house. So much fun!! The girls wore their adorable matching dress which I of course made myself.

Waiting in the hallway for all the parents to hide the eggs.

This was about the best we could do. Next time pictures will be taken before everyone gets so tired!

Aubrey's 13 months

Aubrey's 13 months and her vocabulary has exploded!!

She says puppy, mommy, uh oh, I hide, dada, chicken, hi, hat, i pee (and tried to pull off her diaper). She also mimics everything. If I scratch my knee, she scratches hers.

- Here she is with her favorite toy of the moment- her chicken.

It was finally a beautiful day so we spent it playing on the swing set and painting the concrete.

Then we took a bath with Maggie.

Pretty days also means zoo trips with cousins.

Haha, they were so tired.

***update 4/11 Aubrey now says cheese, bama (banana), juice, no, and signs please.
