We aren't having his party for another week, and he's already 1, but part of me can't let go of his babyness. I just can't believe he went from something so tiny to something so big and loud so quickly! <br /><br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=15/02/01/512.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/15/02/01/s_512.jpg' border='0' width='157' height='280' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br />He was so perfect. Nursed great, slept well, such a cuddler. Now he's a loud, screaming, mommas boy who would rather be held by me than be free to run around. <br /><br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=15/02/01/516.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/15/02/01/s_516.jpg' border='0' width='209' height='280' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br /><br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=15/02/01/518.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/15/02/01/s_518.jpg' border='0' width='209' height='280' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br /><br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=15/02/01/519.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/15/02/01/s_519.jpg' border='0' width='209' height='280' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br /><br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=15/02/01/520.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/15/02/01/s_520.jpg' border='0' width='210' height='280' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br /><br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=15/02/01/521.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/15/02/01/s_521.jpg' border='0' width='209' height='280' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br /><br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=15/02/01/522.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/15/02/01/s_522.jpg' border='0' width='209' height='280' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br />I love him. Such a big sweet girl. She was not feeling well and for the first time ever refused to get weighed or her height taken. We finally made (err persuaded) her to let me hold her on the scale. She was about 40lbs and 40inches. <br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=14/12/08/20.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/14/12/08/s_20.jpg' border='0' width='209' height='280' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br />Aubrey wanted it to be her appointment too. So much fun! We had it at Gymstars in collierville. There were 11 little friends. Jane Ellis and Aubrey were very timid at first but Jane Ellis quickly got the hang of jumping and climbing and rolling. Aubrey was soon after that. <br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=14/12/06/190.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/14/12/06/s_190.jpg' border='0' width='157' height='280' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br />Jane Ellis loved the foam pit <br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=14/12/06/191.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/14/12/06/s_191.jpg' border='0' width='157' height='280' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br />So did sterling and Clara <br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=14/12/06/192.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/14/12/06/s_192.jpg' border='0' width='280' height='210' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br />The "my little pony" looked fantastic. 😜<br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=14/12/06/193.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/14/12/06/s_193.jpg' border='0' width='209' height='280' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br />Birthday girl! <br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=14/12/06/194.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/14/12/06/s_194.jpg' border='0' width='280' height='210' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br /> Birthday girl and all her friends! So, I think Robert has finally accepted the fact that I'll be bringing chickens home in a few weeks! He was very resistant at first. But now, I think he's just glad I'm not wanting a goat lol Dad, Robert, Leroy, Ray and a little of my guidance have brought this cute -huge- coop to life.<br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=14/11/29/114.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/14/11/29/s_114.jpg' border='0' width='280' height='210' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br /><br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=14/11/29/115.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/14/11/29/s_115.jpg' border='0' width='280' height='210' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br /><br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=14/11/29/116.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/14/11/29/s_116.jpg' border='0' width='209' height='280' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br />I can't wait until its painted! Then yesterday he started running a pretty high fever and last night he cried all night and hardly slept at all. Im a little worried this might be the start of an ear infection. Normally I would try to just treat it at home with garlic infused oil and breast milk in the ears. But with Stephen and Jennifer's wedding this weekend I decided to take Alden to his first sick baby appointment. We went to see uncle Stephen. The girls were so excited.<br /> Alden was 20 lbs and had a fever of 102 :( he was still pretty smiley though (as long as mommy held him). I knew he wasn't feeling well though BC he would hardly nurse. His ears were a little red but no infection. I decided to head it off and just start amoxicillin. I just can't have a sick baby during the wedding. <br />He has spaghetti for dinner and was pretty happy. Looks like his meds are helping :) <br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=14/10/14/753.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/14/10/14/s_753.jpg' border='0' width='209' height='280' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br /><br />Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone<br /><br />Sarah Hillhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15665772890751416371noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9214054781691402613.post-32954442170487195172014-07-31T14:19:00.001-07:002014-11-29T02:47:50.843-08:00<br /><br /><br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=14/07/31/490.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/14/07/31/s_490.jpg' border='0' width='640' height='640' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br /><br />Finally, at a little over 6 months, Alden is starting to master sitting up! <br /><br /><br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=14/07/31/491.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/14/07/31/s_491.jpg' border='0' width='640' height='640' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br /><br />And he just woke up from a 4 hr nap. Well, January 18th came and went, just like I knew it would. Nobody believed me when I said our little guy would come after his due date. So many people thought I was crazy for not being induced. And to tell you the truth, I started to believe he was just so comfy, he'd never come out. I was not having any contractions, I was barely 2 cms. I did everything I could to speed up the process. But only one thing worked...<br /><br /><br /><br />Friday morning I woke up, 40 weeks and 6 days pregnant. Tired, swollen, achey, irritable, excited and tired. (yes, tired is on there twice for a reason) I decided to call my amazing chiropractor and see if she could fit me in. I don't know why I hadn't thought of it earlier, but I wish I had! She said she could see me saturday morning. I prayed it would work! <br /><br /><br /><br />Saturday morning, at 10:00, mom and I headed to the chiropractor. I told her I was 41 wks and I needed this baby out =) She did her magic. Afterwards mom and I ran to walmart. While we shopped, I began to feel contractions, only every 30 mins or so, but they were fairly strong. I told mom, but we both assumed it was because we were walking around. (I'm always in a little denial when my labor start, because I always assume they'll (for some reason) stall out) After I got home, I drank a little castor oil. Around noon, I met Robert and the girls at his Grandmother's house for lunch. I told him about the contractions (15-20mins apart). I did not tell anyone else however. I'm pretty sure I gobbled that burger up thinking it might be my last until after delivery! <br /><br /><br /><br />The rest of the day was kind of a blur. We left Robert's grandma's house around 6pm. I went home and did some laundry, packed my bag and loved on the girls. By late that evening I was hurting, bad! Back labor... again. I had horrible back labor with Jane Ellis. It litterally felt as if knives were stabbing me. I was determined to put the girls to bed before I left, but then I started bleeding. Hmmm, "Hey babe! I think you need to call your parents!" <br /><br /><br /><br />Debbie and Woodson got to the house around 930pm. Both the girlies were in bed, so I was ready to go. We arrived at Methodist Germantown around 1030pm and I was admitted at 1045. The contractions were hard and fast. I wanted a natural delivery, but I was pretty sure with this back labor, there was just no way. I was 8 cm and 90% effaced. I was begging for an epidural. Dr Seymore was at the bedside. I got my epidural, was dosed when I laid back down. Two minutes later my water was broken and I was pushing. It actually helped the pain to push! I pushed for 6 mins. Just when I didn't think I could possibly push anymore (my epidural was not working) the sweetest little 8lbs 8oz 21 inch long perfect baby boy was born at <br />1220 am. Apgars of 8 and 9. Big blue eyes, and light brown hair. My first baby to do immediate skin to skin and to nurse like a little champ! <br /><br />Sarah Hillhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15665772890751416371noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9214054781691402613.post-64404755342106998062014-06-27T21:03:00.000-07:002014-11-29T02:46:59.264-08:00October<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /><br /></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnkaaIfYRBRSde95-yFRQtcmj406TFUA3BVPP5rIbUKIVqwApIddbL36HU5n4SoUcCTFjigziwZtpuaeKRvhaiFBe5SPH0acYdZsTzSvwHrvW4uAOqWtLKgR55hZCCP57nkZFunRmXGHph/s1600/ry%253D400.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" closure_lm_831990="null" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnkaaIfYRBRSde95-yFRQtcmj406TFUA3BVPP5rIbUKIVqwApIddbL36HU5n4SoUcCTFjigziwZtpuaeKRvhaiFBe5SPH0acYdZsTzSvwHrvW4uAOqWtLKgR55hZCCP57nkZFunRmXGHph/s1600/ry%253D400.jpg" height="232" oua="true" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />October- I had my glucose test today. We're having baby #3 in January!!!! We were completely surprised, but very excited. Aubrey will be 23 months and Jane Ellis will be three in November, so now too sure how crazy it will be with 3 kids 3 and under, but we'll find out soon! We waited to tell our families after we could get in to see the OB and get an US pic. Robert's parents were pretty surprised. Mine? Not so much lol The girls are excited, though I'm not sure how much Jane Ellis really understands. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Some more July fun, the whole family took a trip to Hot Springs! We also spent a day at the local petting zoo/crocodile farm feeding the goats. <br />

I love Mother's day, not for the gifts or sweet sentiments, but just for the reminder that being a mother is a gift I was given, something that not every woman partakes in, whether by choice or not. We don't make a big deal of it (although i certainly wouldn't mind if they did! lol) I worked last night and tonight, so I pretty much slept all day and we played this afternoon. It may not have been the "ideal" Mother's Day, but one more day with these precious girls is more than some moms get. So for me, today was perfect :) <br /><br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=13/05/13/295.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/13/05/13/s_295.jpg' border='0' width='281' height='210' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br /><br /><br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=13/05/13/296.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/13/05/13/s_296.jpg' border='0' width='281' height='210' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br /><br />Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone<br /><br />Sarah Hillhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15665772890751416371noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9214054781691402613.post-6569060810331396462013-04-05T23:16:00.001-07:002013-04-05T23:16:15.147-07:00Oh, Jane Ellie...So let me set the stage for you. My sister and her girls came and spent the day with us. (which just happened to be the most beautiful day we've had in weeks) Then we we spent the evening at my parent's house eating and letting all the cousins play together (as well as 4 kids age 1-3 years can play together lol) We got back to the house around 915 and I quickly nursed AC and put her to bed. Ahhh, now to get JE to bed. She was snuggled up to Robert watching Duck Dynasty with a little Caillou mixed in. Robert had to run down to the shop, so I put JE in the bed with my nook so she could watch a few stories. About 15 minutes went by and since I never heard anything I assumed she was asleep. Maggie was asleep on the couch, but quickly lifted her head when we heard something in the kitchen. I thought it was just a cat (or mouse). A second later I see a little curly-brown haired 2 yo crawling from the kitchen to underneath the dining room table! Maggie was very unsure of what was going on, she was sitting up on the couch- hair raised with a low growl. "Jane Ellis, what are you doing? (laughing)" she doesn't say anything. She gets right in front of me and I ask her what she has in her mouth. She just smiles, when she opens her hand I can see she had gotten into some candy that was on the tall dresser in our room. When I went back there to see how she had gotten them, I discovered that, although all the lights were off except for the hallway light, she had gotten her stool out of the bathroom, climbed up and took the candy. This is really the first time she's done anything sneaky like this! And I love it!! I love seeing her sweet little personality grow and mature. I can't wait to see what other funny things she does <br />

I decided to go straight to bed so I could get up at 12 and get ready. It has been so rainy that we knew the egg hunt would be inside; that also meant Robert hasn't been working so he was able to watch the girls while I slept. We had our annual Easter at my Pepaw's house. So much fun!! The girls wore their adorable matching dress which I of course made myself. <br />

We started the morning out by everyone going in to get Aubrey from her crib and to give her balloons! She loved being awakened by everyone! <br />
<br />
<a href="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=13/02/12/1716.jpg"><img border="0" height="281" src="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/13/02/12/s_1716.jpg" style="margin: 5px;" width="210" /></a><br />
<br />
After we got dressed we had to take Aubrey to her 1 yr well baby visit.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=13/02/12/1717.jpg"><img border="0" height="281" src="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/13/02/12/s_1717.jpg" style="margin: 5px;" width="210" /></a><br />
<br />
She weighs 19lbs 8ozs and 29 3/4 in long. <br />
<br />
<a href="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=13/02/12/1718.jpg"><img border="0" height="281" src="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/13/02/12/s_1718.jpg" style="margin: 5px;" width="210" /></a><br />
<br />
Her report was good! She had lost a little weight since her last visit, but that is more than likely due to her walking now so no worries :) <br />
<br />
<a href="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=13/02/12/1720.jpg"><img border="0" height="281" src="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/13/02/12/s_1720.jpg" style="margin: 5px;" width="210" /></a><br />
<br />
After that we took the girls to Cracker Barrel and had breakfast. <br />
<br />
<a href="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=13/02/12/1721.jpg"><img border="0" height="281" src="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/13/02/12/s_1721.jpg" style="margin: 5px;" width="210" /></a><br />
<br />
Then on to Barnes and Noble. This is a cat book that of course Jane Ellis found. <br />
<br />
<a href="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=13/02/12/1722.jpg"><img border="0" height="281" src="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/13/02/12/s_1722.jpg" style="margin: 5px;" width="210" /></a><br />
<br />
Aubrey was having a ball trying to pick out a little stuffed kitten. <br />
<br />
<a href="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=13/02/12/1723.jpg"><img border="0" height="281" src="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/13/02/12/s_1723.jpg" style="margin: 5px;" width="210" /></a><br />
<br />
She really wanted the train table lol <br />
<br />
<a href="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=13/02/12/1724.jpg"><img border="0" height="281" src="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/13/02/12/s_1724.jpg" style="margin: 5px;" width="210" /></a><br />
<br />
All tuckered out. I think she loved her birthday! <br />
<br />
<a href="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=13/02/12/1726.jpg"><img border="0" height="281" src="http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/13/02/12/s_1726.jpg" style="margin: 5px;" width="210" /></a><br />
<br />
A little about our Aubrey Claire<br />
<ul>
<li>she's still nursing on demand all the time. I absolutely love nursing a toddler. Seriously. It's the sweetest thing ever. I am trying to teach her "boundaries" though because she loves to pull my shirt up and down =) </li>
<li>she loves her vegetables. Peas, green beans, corn, tomatoes, celery, bell pepper. I want to grow a garden just so I can watch her pick veggies and eat them! She loves carbs (of course) but is not a big meat eater. However, she loves her momma's lasagna!</li>
<li>she's not really talking. She can wave bye, and say momma and dadda. But that's about it. She babbles ALL THE TIME though! So when she does start talking, watch out! She does sign "all done" though! </li>
<li>She loves to copy Jane Ellis. What ever she is doing AC is right there with her. </li>
<li>She runs everywhere. She's been walking since 9.5 months and hasn't slowed down. Her recent trick is climbing. </li>
<li>She loves her momma. AC wants to be held all the time. She does play on her own a little, but if I'm doing something- laundry, cooking, folding clothes- she wants to be on my hip or in the carrier. She pulls and hangs on me and yells for me all the time. But she gives the best snuggles and gives me kisses whenever I ask, so how can I argue with her. And just to be fair, when Robert comes home she's all about her daddy... for about 5 mins! ha!! </li>
<li>Oh and both girls are still rear-facing in their carseats. I can't stress that enough. I full-heartedly believe in the safety of ERFing. And both girls will be Rfing until the limits of their seats are reached =) Keep your kids safe people! </li>
<li>Last thing- my little swing (that doesn't swing)-addicted child is now sleeping and napping in her own bed! One night, while I was at work, AC started refusing the swing, so Robert put her in her crib. She settled right down and slept all night. This was just a few weeks before her first birthday. Now she loves her crib! She just needs her blanket, a few little stuffed animals and her paci. She's normally in bed around 8-830 and will wake to nurse around 12 then either sleep till 730 or wake at 5 to nurse and then sleep till 830. We rearranged the girl's room to comfortably fit the glider and now all's well =) </li>
</ul>

She started playing peekaboo with her pjs and went to get a diaper when I told Robert she needed a new one!! At 10 months, she's already walking so she had a great time trying to open all the presents. And Jane Ellis thought it was great how there was nothing under the tree for weeks and then she wakes up to all kinds of gifts. <br /><br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=13/01/09/2560.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/13/01/09/s_2560.jpg' border='0' width='210' height='281' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br /><br /><br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=13/01/09/2561.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/13/01/09/s_2561.jpg' border='0' width='281' height='210' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br /><br /><br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=13/01/09/2562.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/13/01/09/s_2562.jpg' border='0' width='281' height='210' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br /><br />Our Christmas was very hectic. After we had our Christmas we had to pack up the car to head to Ky for Roberts family Christmas. We weren't too sure if we should go since there was supposed to be snow. After looking at the radar and watching the weather channel, we decided wed be there before it really started; and sure enough we were! It was a great drive. The girls were very patient and we only had to stop once. Now we just have to find a place for all these new toys! <br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=13/01/23/3086.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/13/01/23/s_3086.jpg' border='0' width='210' height='281' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br /><br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=13/01/23/3087.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/13/01/23/s_3087.jpg' border='0' width='281' height='210' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br /><br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=13/01/23/3088.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/13/01/23/s_3088.jpg' border='0' width='210' height='281' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br /><br /><br /><center><a href='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/show_photo.php?p=13/01/23/3089.jpg'><img src='http://photo.blogpressapp.com/photos/13/01/23/s_3089.jpg' border='0' width='210' height='281' style='margin:5px'></a></center><br />Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone<br />Sarah Hillhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15665772890751416371noreply@blogger.com0
