Mmmmm.... Glucola!

So we've made it to 30 weeks! I'm so proud of Jane Ellis all ready, she's growing big and strong and is still head down :) Good news to this mamma! I went to the Dr friday and had to do my glucola test. I wasn't too nervous about it, but I didn't want to fail... and I didn't. I had to drink the orange, but it wasn't too bad. I scored a 135 out of 140! Woo Hoo :) Afterwards... McCalister's, Pier 1 and to see Emma! She's getting so big! Here's a super cute pic my sister took the other day.

Baby Squash

We're 29 weeks today!! Yay! I can't believe it... She could be here whenever she decides now... crazy! However, I'd prefer her to wait 11 more weeks :) So here's a little update on her size and what veggie she is this weeks!

Baby's now the size of a squash!

Baby's energy is surging, thanks to white fat depositing beneath his skin. And since he's growing so fast (weight will triple by birth), things are getting kind of cramped in the womb. What all this means for you: Get ready for some more kicks and jabs to the ribs.

Go Hogs!

So Robert and I got to do the only thing we love more than the lake... see the Razorbacks win! We headed out to Fayetteville around 11 pm Saturday and ate lunch at Coltons. I was craving their sweet rolls lol We made it to the stadium around 330 pm. Parked and walked right in about 430. It was great! The weather was beautiful, not a cloud in the sky, and the stadium was full. I heard their were around 70,000 fans! This is a picture of the stadium across us about 45 mins before the game started so you can imagine how much it filled up when the game started.

I'm a little aggravated at myself for not getting a picture taken of me and my Jane Ellis belly... it was her first game lol But I have a feeling she'll be going to a lot more! Here is a great picture of the band at half time.

The game was a success, we beat Tennessee Tech 44-3. Now, granted, it was Tenn Tech, but your first game sets the tone for the whole season. Ole Miss lost their opening game in double OT to Jacksonville State... hummmm. Anyway... the game was over by 9 pm so we decided to just drive home that night. Robert got me to LR and I drove the rest of the way. Needless to say, Daisy was excited her mommy and daddy were home! All in all - A Great Weekend!

My mom bought Jane Ellis's crib for me and it came in the other day! We haven't put it together yet, because we still have to paint the ceiling. But here's a picture of it.

28 weeks

I'm 28 weeks today and so far so good. I still feel great and have only gained 20 lbs... which is like 100 to me! But everyone says that's pretty good, so I'm going to be happy with it for now. I feel Jane Ellis moving ALL the time! It's so much fun! I love to just feel her move and kick and guess what part of her I'm feeling lol Is it a hand, foot, elbow, knee? Who knows! But it doesn't matter, It's just fun to know she's still happy, warm and growing :)

As good as the pregnancy has been, I have started to notice I can't walk up the stairs without losing my breath and working 3 in a row has started to become a bigger chore than before, but I'm still sleeping great during the day. Daisy loves her nap time with her mommy and after playing fetch in the yard a few times, snuggles up with me on the bed and will sleep there all day until I get up. I haven't started painting the ceiling, but I do have the paint! So, unfortunately, I don't have any pictures to post yet. I will work on that this weekend. If we don't go to the first Razorback game of the year! Robert is hard at work cutting rice, so if they are caught up enough, we'll be heading to Fayetteville saturday!

Cravings

So as of today, I really haven't had any strange or abnormal cravings. I have been wanting sushi but that's not out of the ordinary. Well, after work this morning I went to Wal-Mart (already a bad idea right there) to pick up something to fix for dinner. I left with the fixins for a cherry cheesecake!

27 weeks

Today, Jane Ellis is 27 weeks! Only 13 weeks to go :) It's amazing to know that in as little as 10 weeks we could have a baby in our house... that's all ours.... and that we can't take back lol I think Robert and I are both getting a little anxious as this day approaches. We actually haven't even talked about how our lives are going to change. I'm just trying to get her room painted lol.

So I get posts weekly about how Jane Ellis is growing and what size fruit or vegetable she is. Yes, they compare my child to fruit! Anyway, this is what they said today: Baby's now the size of an eggplant! Baby's lungs are going through some major developments these days, which (combined with the opening of previously plugged nostrils) means she's now able to practice inhaling and exhaling. The lack of air in your womb means every "breath" is filled with amniotic fluid, but hey--- it's progress!
